Spee-Dee has a special program designed to make returns easy. With Spee-Dee EZR, customers are able to print their own labels and track their returns on the Spee-Dee website. Rates are assigned based on the number of consignees a customer ships to on a daily basis.
Basic EZR – For customers that ship to a consignee on a daily basis.
Enhanced EZR – For customers that do not ship to a consignee on a daily basis. A request for pick-up form needs to be emailed or faxed to notify the driver of a pick-up. An additional $4.00 per package fee applies.
EZR Pick-Up Account – A $8 per week/per location pick-up fee is applied if 10 or more locations are on a regular pick-up schedule. A $12 per week/per location pick-up fee is applied if less than 10 locations are on a regular pick-up schedule.
Return costs are determined by the shipper and Spee-Dee Delivery, based on the customer’s prior shipping history. Once a price is agreed upon, it remains the same for all EZR shipments. The price may be adjusted if shipping characteristics change. Fuel surcharges and rate changes apply.
Charges are triggered when the EZR labels are scanned in the Spee-Dee network. Charges will appear on your standard invoice as a separate line item. Unused labels will not be charged.
A Spee-Dee EZR Service Fee of $0.75 per EZR package will be applied.
Spee Dee Delivery’s maximum liability for loss and damage is $100.00 per package for qualifying shipments. Spee Dee Delivery will pay the shipper’s replacement cost (not the retail or wholesale cost charged by the shipper). Additional declared value cannot be purchased for Spee Dee EZR.
To produce EZR labels, Spee-Dee Software must be activated by our IT Department. Labels can be printed in batches by the main account and sent to the customers to be used as the return label. EZR labels, which cannot be duplicated, contain the pick-up location, return address, and a unique tracking number.
