Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
How do I find my manifest history?
Your manifest history is built into the new system. If you need to find an order just search for the order with a series of filters. No order is ever deleted in shipit. Orders from the old Spee–Dee Ship system are not transferred into shipit.
Can I import my contacts from Spee-Dee Ship into shipit?
Yes! We’ve created a handy, step-by-step guide to help you import your contacts from Spee-Dee Ship into the new platform. You can download the guide here.
For LTL shipments, do we need to label the pallets and provide the BOL, or will the driver bring those?
If it’s a same-day pick-up, you’ll need to print the BOLs and label the pallets before the driver arrives. We recommend always labeling your pallets to prevent misrouted shipments.
How do I get email confirmations for orders placed through shipit?
Go to the Notifications tab to choose who receives the email confirmations and for which events. By default, the person who creates the order is notified and you can add others if needed.
Can I track my packages in shipit?
At this time, no—but in the future this feature will become available.
For now, package tracking is done through our website which can be found here.
How do I save my pickup address?
In Contacts, click the star next to the address to turn it yellow. This marks it as your default pickup location.
The address I want to add is not showing up—or it’s showing a different city?
As you type in the address, just keep typing the address into the form, include the city in the address bar. Once you get to the city level, the address will usually show up. Select the address you want from the list.
If the address still doesn’t show up, select “enter address from Zip/Postal Code”, start by adding the zip code, and select the city that comes up. Continue to enter the remaining part of the address and click “Save.”
